Overview - Value Engineering
In any project design there are ways that the project can be modified to be more cost effective and sustainable while still meeting the project objectives. Value engineering is a collaborative process by which all project team members assess various design alternatives and then each alternative is evaluated based on their functional requirement, capital cost, lifecycle cost, and priority.
